This policy explains what personal data SmartGridence Consulting collects through smartgridence.com and its subdomains (finance, strategy and ai.smartgridence.com), why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as we need to answer your request.

1. Who we are

SmartGridence Consulting (“we”, “us”) is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question or request, contact us at contact@smartgridence.com.

2. What we collect

When you request an assessment through the contact form, we receive:

your name, business email, company and role;
optionally, the direction you are interested in and the challenge you selected on the page;
if you used the ROI calculator, a short summary of the figures you entered (team size and estimated benefit);
the date and time of the request and which page it came from.

When you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include.

Technical data. Like any website, our servers record standard log data (IP address, browser type, requested page, time) to keep the service secure and working. These logs are not used to identify you.

We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you.

Form submissions are sent to our own API and stored in a Google Sheet in our Google account. We use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf:

Google — storage of enquiries (Google Workspace / Google Cloud) and, with your consent, website analytics (Google Analytics 4);
our hosting provider — running the website and API servers.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, transfers are protected by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together — then for as long as the engagement and legal obligations require.
Server logs: up to 30 days.
Analytics data: up to 14 months.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email contact@smartgridence.com — we reply within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Cookies

The website works without cookies. Analytics cookies are set only after you click “Accept analytics” in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time: .

We also store your cookie choice in a small cookie (sg_consent, 12 months) shared across smartgridence.com and its subdomains, so we don’t ask again on every page. It contains no personal data.

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
